What is Amazon Flex
Amazon Flex is a program where independent contractors, called delivery partners, deliver Amazon orders. Hundreds of millions of items are available through Amazon, including electronics, household essentials, and much more.
Please remember, Delivery partners need to use their own vehicles to deliver packages to Amazon customers.
How do I sign up for Amazon Flex?
To download the app, open this link in your mobile phone’s browser:

If you meet the Amazon requirements, you’ll be able to download the Amazon Flex app .Once you are able to download the App you need to perform the following steps:
1) Sign up for Amazon Flex using your existing Amazon account or by creating a new Amazon account
2) Provide answers to questions that we’ll use for a background check
3) Select a service area where you will pick up and deliver Amazon packages
4) Watch the videos to learn best practices for delivering with Amazon
5) Provide tax and payment details
What are the requirements to become a delivery partner?
1) You must be at least 18 years old
2) You will need an Android phone of version 6.0 or higher with at least 2GB of RAM
3) Your device needs to have a camera with flash, GPS location services, and an active SIM with voice & data connectivity
4) A two-wheeler that meets all applicable law and safety requirements
5) A valid and legally compliant Driving License, Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance Certificate and Pollution (PUC) certificate
6) A valid PAN (Permanent Account Number) Card
7) A Savings or a Current Bank Account
You can either use an existing account that you have on Amazon.in or create a new one to register for the Amazon Flex program.
You will also need to successfully complete a background check by our third-party background verification agency which may include a verification of your address, driving license, and criminal records (if any).
How long will the background check take?
Your background check will typically take about 5 to 10 business days. If you have any questions about the background check, you can contact amazon flex partner at 022 43518017 or you can also email them at bgc_support@idfy.com.(Please keep in mind this is the third party company)
How do I download the app?
You can download the Amazon Flex app on your mobile device by visiting the Amazon Flex website at https://flex.amazon.in or by entering this URL directly in your mobile phone web browser: https://logistics.amazon.in/app/download-app/
So if you are downgrading the app from web browser then you also need to update the security settings for the app. Follow the below steps to update the security settings.
To update security settings for the app:
1) Go to Settings > Security
2) Turn on Unknown Sources
3) Go to your phone's My Files or Downloads folder and tap the Amazon Flex icon to install.
When will I get paid?
You can track your pay on the Earnings screen of the Amazon Flex app. Amazon Flex processes payments on Wednesdays via direct deposit to the bank account you provided during sign up.
What are earnings estimates based on?
Earnings estimates are based on an estimated length of time (referred to as a block). We aim to ensure that the number of parcels you are assigned to deliver within your block is realistic, taking into account traffic congestion and the primary requirement to drive safely. However, the actual time taken per delivery may vary (because it could, occasionally, take less time or a little more time than expected).
Do I have to pay taxes as an Amazon Flex driver?
The earnings over the week will be will be subject to a with-holding tax of 1% as per the Govt. regulations. The total payout will be net of taxes. For ex: If you make INR 1000 during the week, you will be receiving INR 990 into your account.
I do not have a PAN card. Can i deliver for Flex?/Do i need a PAN Card to deliver for Flex?
PAN Card is mandatory for you to drive for Amazon Flex in India. You will have to provide the same in our Tax interview page. In case you do not have a PAN Card, please apply for the same.
Is there anything I need to bring or special clothes I need to wear?
As an independent contractor, you can bring anything with you to aid in your deliveries and you are free to choose your attire while delivering with Amazon Flex. For your safety, we recommend that you wear closed shoes and do not wear any loose clothing while at the station or out on road for delivery.
How do I know where to go for my block?
The app provides the starting address at least one hour before your block start time. You're expected to arrive on time to your scheduled block to pick up packages.
What do I do when I arrive for my block?
When you arrive at an Amazon Delivery Station, please park your vehicle in the designated location. Swipe I've Arrived in the app, and look for the posted signs indicating Amazon Flex reporting location. You'll be met by the Amazon station team, who will check your ID and provide an Arrival QR code for you to scan with the app. After you're done scanning and loading all the packages, tap Swipe to Finish, and proceed ahead with delivering the packages.
What should I do after I have attempted all the packages?
Once you have finished attempting all the packages assigned, you must return undelivered packages, your bag, the mobile payment device and the cash collected to the original pick-up location. Your eligibility for Amazon Flex will be affected if you fail to meet delivery service requirements. Once you have completed the handover, you are good to go, but feel free to check for more available blocks.
How do I provide the change for COD shipment to the customer?
Amazon customers can ask you to either load the balance amount into their Amazon Pay account or will ask you to provide it in the form of cash. Please follow customer’s instructions accordingly
What should I do if I have a question about a delivery while I'm on the road?
If you are currently making deliveries and need assistance then call Support using the Help menu in the upper right corner of the app.
